Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley will grant three awards Sunday, August 17th, 2008 onstage at the annual Pride in the Park celebration at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown. 

1) Queer Student of the Year - $500 AWARD– Awarded to a queer teen who is a positive force in the glbti community through their involvement and participation in community activities.

2) Rainbow Award - $500 AWARD – Awarded to a queer student based on academic excellence.

3) Diversity Essay Contest  - $200 AWARD -  Open to all college-bound youth regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
